The Fire Chief serves as the chief executive officer of the fire department, reporting directly to the Mayor. This unique hybrid role balances flexible weekly administrative office hours with on-call emergency scene command. The Chief provides leadership, strategic direction, and administrative oversight to a roster of up to 35 active volunteer firefighters.
