City seeks applicants for Ilwaco Planning Commission
The City of Ilwaco is accepting resumes and/or letters of interest for an open position on the Ilwaco Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission consists of five members appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. They advise the mayor and council on comprehensive planning matters for anticipating and influencing the orderly and coordinated development of land and building uses within the city, such as subdivisions and vacation of streets and alleys. The members are selected without respect to political affiliations, and they serve without compensation. The term of office is six years.
The Planning Commission currently meets as needed on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m., at the Ilwaco Fire Hall.
