Need some extra help paying your electric bill?

Pacific County PUD is working with Promise and the Washington State Department of Commerce to administer the Washington Families Clean Energy Credits grant program. This program is designed to help low to moderate income households with the clean energy transition. This initiative offers bill credits of $200 per household to eligible residential customers through their electric account. The Department of Commerce will distribute grants to all utility companies in Washington, enabling them to pass on $200 bill credits to customer accounts by September 15, 2024.

The Washington Families Clean Energy Credits program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at www.climate.wa.gov.

The application is fast and easy. You just need your PUD account number, the number of people living in your household as of today, and the total gross annual income for 2023 (last year) for all the adults in your household.

Once you have the information, apply online at wacleanenergycredits.com.

If you are awarded the credit, Pacific County PUD will automatically be notified and apply the $200 directly to your account balance no later than September 15, 2024.
