Please join us for the Ilwaco Children’s Parade on Saturday May 4!  Open to all ages, the parade starts at Noon at the East end of Howerton Way and proceeds uptown, ending at First Avenue South and Lake Street near the old Red’s lot.  Awards will be given for Best Decorated Bike, Best Pet Costume, Best Float Theme (Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree), and Most Patriotic after the parade at 2:00 p.m. at the Port of Ilwaco Pavilion.  Same day registration is open  Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Coho Charter’s parking lot, or request a registration form in advance from treasurer@ilwaco-wa.gov.  The parade is free for all kids and donations are always accepted for supporting the event.  Also, be sure to visit the Kraken Café/Tsunami Cycle in Long Beach on Friday, May 3 between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for a free bike decorating clinic!
